About Treetops
Treetops is a modern and cosy lodge that offers a picturesque view of the Tay Valley. Situated in a serene rural location, the site combines tranquillity with the convenience of being just a short 10-minute walk from the popular town of Aberfeldy, where a number of shops, activities, and eateries await your exploration.
This recently constructed lodge accommodates up to 6 people across 3 bedrooms— a double room and two twin rooms with single beds. The master bedroom boasts an ensuite shower room, while the two twin rooms share a spacious shower room conveniently located by the front door. The open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen feature modern decor and a welcoming log-burning stove.
Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the River Tay through the ceiling-to-floor windows that adorn a significant portion of the lodge's front side. These windows have sliding doors leading to a large, enclosed terrace equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture—a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds the property.
Strathtay Lodges, a small community with approximately 30 individually owned lodges, is currently in its final phase of construction, with the site expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Please be aware that the road leading to the site is fairly steep with one or two sharp corners, requiring careful driving.
The chic kitchen includes all of the appliances and equipment that you could need including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, coffee machine and microwave.
Treetops has parking spaces for 2 cars - these are located to the front right of the property in front of the neighbouring lodge. This is also where the EV charger is located for your use. There is secure bike storage to the rear of the lodge.

I had a utterly fantastic family trip to Treetops. The lodge was beautiful, with stunning views and immaculately clean. The open plan living felt very sociable and homely and we all agreed the beds were some of the comfiest we have experienced in a rental property! We had plenty of activities to do for all the family (even in winter) including beautiful walks and exploring the adorable local village. The location is great, walkable to Aberfeldy or short drives to lots of beautiful areas. I have already booked our next trip!

My family and I loved our time at the lodge. The perfect spot to unwind. The house was cosy and nice and clean with stunning views, surrounded by nature. Aberfeldy is a charming wee town with lots of lovely restaurants and cafes, and there are lovely walks and nearby towns to explore. We will be back!

Brilliant location, great variety of walks from the property as well as easy access to some bigger hills nearby and the town of Aberfeldy just 5 mins down the road has everything you need - shops/pubs etc.
The house itself was a gorgeous place to stay, amazing views down the valley, a lovely log burning stove and a very well equipt kitchen.
Will definitely be returning, thank you for a lovely stay!

Our stay at Number 14 was just perfect. The house is so cosy and very clean with the most fabulous views. The location is lovely with a short walk to Aberfeldy. I would recommend to anyone!

I stayed in the treetops house for a long weekend with 5 friends. It was wonderful! The house was clean, modern and cosy. It had everything you would need to make a few meals at home and have some drinks too! Theres a beautiful fire thats is easy to use and perfect for snuggling up on the sofa reading a book/watching TV. All of the beds are amazing, so comfortable and clean! Everything is to a very high standard so the whole experience feel extremely luxurious!
The area is great and has so much to offer! Simple walks, snowy peaks, meandering rivers and Loch Tay (with a spa!! Or a dip if youre brave enough!). There's a distillery down the road that you can tour and some kayaking on the river! The town is lovely, it has a few shops, pubs and cafes you could spend any rainy days in, which are within walking distance!
Thank you to the hosts, I had a wonderful time and think the house would be great for families or a group of friends!
